Prof. Tianxi Liu is currently a full professor in College of Chemical and Material Engineering, Jiangnan University, China. He has been elected as Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Prestigious accolades for his exceptional scientific contributions including National Natural Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars, Shanghai Leading Talent, Excellent Academic Leader of Shanghai, the “Shu-Guang” Scholar of Shanghai, Humboldt Fellow, and Second Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award. He is currently serving as the Co Editor-in-Chief of Composites Communications, the Associate Editors of Advanced Fiber Materials, and Functional Composite Materials, the director for the Nanocomposite Division and the deputy directors for the Ultrafine Fiber Composite Materials Division and Thermal Conductive Composites Division of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials. His research interests include polymer nanocomposites, functional aerogel composites, nanofiber composites, and nanoenergy composites and devices. He has published over 500 peer-reviewed articles which have been cited more than 25000 times (H-Index: 85). He has been selected as the “Top 1% Highly Cited Scholar” in Materials Science by the RSC in 2016-2018, the Clarivate Analytics “Global Highly Cited Scientist” (Material Science) in 2018, and Elsevier "Most Cited Chinese Researcher" (Materials Science & Chemical Engineering and Technology) in 2018-2022.
